Something New In My Life

They always say, "Love Has No Boundaries"...! It has no limit! It can go farther than we usually think...!

Well, maybe this is the idea of this latest blockbuster movie hit from Star Cinema. An unusual love story that will somehow touches our hearts! It's such a "sobrang cheesy" story!

The title of the movie "In My Life" is originally got from this song "Something New In My Life"! Yup, it is top billed by John Lloyd Cruz, Luis Manzano, and the comeback of the Star for All Season, Ms. Vilma Santos taken in New York. All of them play a very unique role. Their roles were very much new to us since they were all first-timer to do such roles. Ate Vi plays a weird comedy librarian while Luis and John Lloyd were lovers in the film.

Yup, the movie tackles a homosexual relationship between the two men played by Luis and John Lloyd. And of course, it was intermittent by the mother's love to her child. Friendship, trust, sacrifice, and true love through ups and downs 'till the end no matter what happen were also emphasized!

I trully salutes the three stars in their roles. They definitely gives a remarkable justice to their roles! Besides the story itself, the stars and their acting, and of course the theme song were some of the reason for their box-office success! Congrats!


Talking of their movie Original Soundtrack (OST), Sarah Geronimo also made a great part. She had very much emphasized the essence of the song as well as its idea (just like she always does!). At first, I thought, it was Vilma who was singing the song. Then eventually I found out that it is Sarah! She can trully adapts to the song as well as the singer she wanted to portray!

"Something New In my Life" was originally done by Steven Bishop long time ago. Maybe way back on 80's. And now in 2009, we are hearing a new version done by Sarah and was used as a movie theme.
