Big Girls Don't Cry Music Video

It's been three years and one month now since I got my first and second jobs. Yeah, it was 2007 when I struggled for a best job. Thanks God, I already got my third job which is best among the previous two! And I already spending my two years and three months here.

Talking about my previous two jobs, did you know that this song from Fergie reminded me of my previous works?

Actually this song called "Big Girls Don't Cry" was the theme song of my officemates in my second job. They keep on playing this song on their cubicles. The song was so good to hear, hindi nakakasawa...! I also love this one!

What more, before I leave my first job, whenever I ride on the bus going home, this song was always played! And my love in that first job always registered on my mind!

But this song was really for my second job. Whenever this song was played, I always remember those god times I spent in this second job. My friends there, my moments, and of course my crush there...all those memories flashed on my mind when I hear this song!

How about if we watch its music video?! I love its music video! It seems that my love stories in my first and second job were reflected here! But still my previous working moments were still on top! So, let us all see how beautiful and hopelessly romantic this song is...! C",)

Catch Me I’m Falling

It's been two years ago after I had my first love in the corporate world. In my first job, I found my first love in the workplace!

I didn't know how we met. Could it be intended or accidental?

This is an article I published in my "Bits of Rockz" blog in Friendster last September 17, 2007. I wrote this when I already on my second work right after we had separated with my love in my first job. I like to share it with you here in my new blog.

It reads:

Unexpected…accidental… intentional…or should I say destiny had moved the way?

You cannot predict what will going to happen or what your fate offers to you. Maybe you wish for someone to be with you, and you didn’t know how that wish will be granted. But suddently, you didn’t expect that the hands of fate has something to do for that wish. You didn’t even know that it is ‘already written in the stars’ that the two of you is yet to meet. That the path for the two of you will soon to be collided!

And now that the twist was already there, and you already had the ‘wish’ on your hands, what will you do next to keep that grant on your hands? Day by day, the feelings get stronger and you realized that you already fallen deeply to your ‘former wish’!

But the question is, it is not yet the right time for the two of you. It is not yet the time to keep or to hold on your ‘grant’ deeply. Deeply and deeply until you ultimately fall. You still have a priority, a goal, and ambition greater than your ‘wish’ that needs a much attention and more focus. What will you do if you already ‘fallen’? The question now, "will you catch me if I fall…"?

It’s just a brief interrude to my new soap. A series recently started in a ligher way (in contrast with my previous hit fantasy-series). Now that the ’season’ have started and a place in my heart was just created deeper and deeper (?), the only thing, the only wish, and request from the bottom of my rebuilt heart and brilliance mind, was that…catch me if I fall!

Thanks for Ms. Toni Gonzaga that sings one of the rhythm of my heart now for these days, "Catch Me I’m Falling". I like to share it with you to build a new inspiration, a new new hope, and a new dreams and endeavors to all our hearts… Just like what happened to me! It now builds a new fighting spirit in a lighter way but deeply inside to come across the road…!

Don't Matter

The beat, the lyrics, and the rhythm of this song keep reminding me of my first experience! Yup, my first experience in the Corporate World...my first love in the Corporate World!

Yeah...I always remember my first job right after Collage. It was April 2007 when it all started...!

The year was 2007 when this song by Akon hit the airwaves. The same year when I finished my ECE course and the year when I got my first job!

April right after my graduation, I immediately looked a job that would fit my qualifications. I walked-in in all the glamorous and beautiful buildings in Makati. My first target building was the tallest tower in the city which is the PBCom tower while next in my line is RCBC. I used to dropped my resumes in all the floors of PBCom. Imagine how high is it...53 floors!

Thanks God my efforts were rewarded. I got two final interviews and two job offers from the two companies in PBCom. The choice was mine during that time, I prefer to choosed the second company, a small IT firm where I was given an offer as Network Admin and Telecom Sales Associate rather than the first one as a Technical Writer with a 5 year contract! God...I really missed my crush in the first company, she's really nice, cute, and beautiful! She's the HR manager who interviewed me!

But then I finally decided to choosed the second company where I can apply my ECE course. Starting with this company, I was longing for my HR manager crush in the first company. Maybe its a coincidence that they were just above our floor. We were located on the 22nd floor while they were on the 23rd!

But this infatuation stopped when my schoolmate entered our company. Yeah, I recommended her to our General Manager as a programmer. Thanks God, she was hired! And this started my love story with her. A new love in a new world...in a Corporate World!

How nice that we were always together. We ate lunch together, we go home together! Our other officemates used to cheer us. Lagi na nila kaming tinutukso...my heart really jumped for joy!

I always with her. When I came home late at night, we go home together ridding in a bus. I like to go home late at night so that there will no more LRT to ride, so that we can ride together in a bus for a long time. She even sleeps in my shoulder...wow! Even in the afternoon, I used to get "tampo" with her if she did not eat lunch with me! I got very angry if she joined lunch with my other boy officemates rather than me!

But things got over...I finally decided to leave my first job to look for a better company. Yeah, I leave her in our company. But on my final day on the said company, we ate lunch together, our final lunch!

Hold On

All of us got familiar with this song as the previous hit Koreanovela "Jumong" aired on TV. Yup, it was the Shamrock who made the revision of this hit.

It's Jumong who always comes on your mind hearing this song. But, have you ever ask or did you even know that this same song also plays a memorable role in my life?


Yup, this particular song started my singing career!

I was a new employee in my previous second job way back September of 2007. As part of their tradition besides having a 'first blood', every newbie in their team was given a chance to show their talents. It's up to the newbie to sing, dance, act, or anything he may want to do.

Since in the team we are 5 newhires, we decided to collaborate and make a big show. We plan to either act or be a fashion model ramping infront of them. But eventually, those plans were all disregarded since according to our boss, we need to peform individually.

Not actally individual since the two of us from the 5 new hires started earlier than the 3 next. So the two of us planned to sing. Yup, to have a duet singing infront of our new teams. And, this song "Hold On", is the one we sang!

A round of applause were given to us! Yeah, they were all amazed that we two, specially me have the singing voice! We got the talent of singing! c",)

And so starting to this incident, I could now sing more different songs infront of them. I was their videoke king during our team outing! This song eventually led to as my trademark to them.


Well, it such a great thing to remember those moments. Added also to this song, I used this song as my themesong to the days that I need to leave my former love. I need to graduate in March 2007 so I need to leave her for good! Hmmmm... no more love story for now, here is Shamrock for their version of "Hold On". Enjoy! c",)

Way Back Into Love

It nice and sweet to get back to your former love. Bringing back the memories, the experience, and the times that you were together were some of the things that always remind your heart to fall and love again.

Way back in 2007 during my first job, my first love story in the corporate world just then happened. I felt greatly inlove with someone that used to be my schoolmate. Surprisingly, we graduated on the same year. On the same year also we got the same job on the same company. We accidentally met somewhere in an LRT station. Maybe its destiny that fave the way for us to met! And in that year also, this song made into the hit list!



Originally, this song was the soundtrack of the movie "Music and Lyrics" topbilled by Hugh Grant and Drew Barrimore. They also sing this song for their movie.

Now in 2009 the same song will hit the airwave as Sam Milby and Toni Gonzaga made a great revision of this song. As part of their album "Love Duet" in line with their other hits, let us all revisit the lyrics of the song that once captured our hearts.
