Where Do I Begin (Love Story)

This is one of my favorite movie today! And I really, really can relate to it! What more, I watch this movie with my date!

"In The Name of Love" is a Star Cinema movie which marks the very first tandem of Ms. Angel Locsin and Mr. Aga Muchlach with Mr. Jake Cuenca under the direction of Ms. Olivia M. Lamasan.

What will you give in the name of love? That is the main point of this film!

Two weeks ago (Wednesday night), we watch this movie with my date in Glorieta Mall, Makati. Though I was in a night shift schedule, I find time to spent a date with my special someone for this movie! And we enjoyed watching it together!

Do you know that we are holding each others' hands while watching this film?! Yeah, from the start to the end of the movie, "magkahawak kami ng kamay!" Haha! So we really feel deeper the message of the film! We even got emo watching the heavy dramatic scenes of Angel and Aga!

Famous lines from this movie even marked our hearts. "Pag lumingon ka akin ka na..." and "Mas pinili kung mamatay para mabuhay ka" were two of the most memorable lines I can't forget!

Aside from the story and the actors, other thing that I love most about this movie is its theme song. The OST of this film is called "Where Do I Begin (Love Story)" revived by Mr. Gary Valenciano! The said song is a 70's hit! Popular classic singer Shirley Bassey even made her own version of it long time ago.

Yeah, I love to sing this song! So, I share with you its lyrics to sing it with me! So sad that I can't find its official music video wherein Gary V. sings it. But the good thing is that, I have the full trailer of the movie "In The Name of Love" where the song becomes its OST. Let's complete our Jericho Rosales Music Video marathon! After giving you his two hit songs, let's now proceed with the third one!

This is a Gary Valenciano original song. I always heard this Gary V.'s version during my childhood days! Now, I'm so glad that during my 20's, I still hear it again with a new rhythm! It sounds so nice! The beat was go great!

With this third song, it was indeed proves that Jericho Rosales was also a very good musician! He sings very well showing his real self! I like the way he put new life to classic songs!

And of course, the music video was really awesome! Kristine Hermosa was also here in the music video. Once again, the Echo-Tin love team comes alive here!

Maybe This Time

Who says rivals cannot be together? Or they may be together competing one another!

Well, this time you will able to see two rivals not competing with one another. Rather, they were sharing good music together!

This is true for Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and Mr. Concert King Martin Nievera. Together as one, they made avery successful concert!

Their concert As One last Saturday in SM Mall of Asia was a smash hit. Truly, many people watched their concert no matter how high the price is! And also, many big stars were spotted in their concert! Congrats to their success!

Well, this is a good start in our todays industry! We all witness how two rivals share hand in doing good deeds together! Now there were not a rival anymore...rather they were friends! As you can see in the pictures, they were happy togeher! It's too nice to see them having fun together!

Beside their successful concert, they also launched their album with the same title, As One! It's carrier single is again As One, a duet song performed by the two. Hayz, so sad...I failed to get a lyrics of their song As One! But as I heard the said song singing by both of them in ASAP and in Sharon, it really great and sounds good!

But don't worry, I have here a song sang by Martin! Maybe This Time is such a good song long time ago. Martin made a counter good revival of this one! For two best of friends (that eventually became lover) or for plain platonic affair, this song suits! This song also made me remember my close friend (whom I fall in love with before) in collage. One of our classmates sang this song for the two of us whenever we met! c",)

Just recently, this movie hits the blockbuster spot. With perfectly combined cast, world-class singer of the theme, and a truly captivating soundtrack, no more questions how it grabbed the hearts of the moviegoers!


Well as previously seen from its teaser, it was a kind of heavy-drama love story or rather a love triangle between the characters of Bea Alonzo, Derek Ramsay, and Sam Milby. Surprisingly, they portrait a totally matured roles. This is the movie where you will see the sexy body of Ms. Bea Alonzo. This is also the movie where you can experience the intimate love scene of Bea and Sam!

Hmmm...it such a totally matured movie for the young age. Especially nowadays, if not teenagers, young professionals like us age between 20 to 25 were experiencing such kind of love. But take note, it's not just ordinary love with only a holding hands or a movie date...an intimate love affairs with sex and body involvements! And in our age right now, many of us were already married or is planning to marry! Well, maybe many can relate with Bea's role in this movie since she plays a married woman who eventually get widowed!


Now the questions goes, who between Sam and Derek's character will Bea choose at the end of the story? We can't tell right away if we didn't catch the movie!

In terms of the theme song, it really suits the story. Have you observed that this song nowadays is gaining its popularity? Yup, actually this is not the first time that the said song was used as a theme. Regine Velasquez first made the revival of this song and now used as a theme in GMA 7's Koreanovela, "Cruel Love"! The title itself suggests a painfully heavy drama romance! And now, Gary Valenciano as well as Sam Milby also made their revivals for the said song and used for this movie!

More trivia about the song, this was originally done by Perry Como and Don McLean. Other more revisions were done by different artists way back in the past!

Fascinated by the different views of night? Or just fascinated by the singer?! Well, I just learned to like this song since the first time I've heard it over the radio. At first, I just like the revision made to it by the rockoustic hearthrob, Sam Milby since he sings it very well with a different tune, but then as it played over and over the radio, I then realized, I will love more this song for the message it connoted to us.

Viewing the lyrics of the song, I just thought, it's a sad breaking song. Two lovers just break apart during that night!

Hmmm...breaking, again and again! Initially, I just dream that this song would be our theme song, a song for my beloved someone! Well then. as my heart tear-down to her, I don't think this song would fits my love story! But I think again! As a seem the lyrics, well, well, well, it's such a song for a broken heart!

How then tears fall in our eyes with the rhythm of this song!

Anything else, let us enjoy singing together with the lyrics to the song now popularized by Sam. And giving you a bit trivia, this song was formerly sang by Gary Valenciano! I didn't exactly hear the way Gary V. sang it, I just heard him singing it in ASAP. At first, I just thought Sam was the original singer of it. Well then, either of Gary or Sam, let us all enjoy the lyrics and rhythm of this song!
