Love really moves in mysterious ways. We are busy searching and searching to find the love for us. But we didn't know, it will come to us unexpectedly!

This scenario applies to me. Yeah, I keep on finding the right person to love. But it eventually come to me unknowingly.

I'm so glad that the Prince of Balladeer Christian Bautista made his own rendition of this romantic song. He made a masculine twist to this love song.

In 2005, Nina popularized the same song. And yes, her version of it became my theme song to my ex in my love story called "One Summer Day."

But actually "Love Moves in Mysterious Ways" is a revival of the 90's hit done by a British singer.

Now it's Papa Christian who revitalized it! His music video is so romantic and inspiring featuring the Queen of All Media Ms. Kris Aquino.

Ordinary People Studio Version (Pilipinas Got Talent)

Everybody got captivated last Saturday on the semi-final round of the hit reality shown on ABS-CBN which is "Pilipinas Got Talent". One of the contestant who also made it to the Grand Final serenade the million viewers!

He is Markki Stroem, the guy who caught the attention of the crowd!

Blessed with good looks and sexy hot body, Markki also proves that he also has a talent to die for! He got a very good romantic voice. And last Saturday, all were surprised seeing him playing piano! Yup, even the judges were also surprised since before they didn't know that Markki can also play musical instrument!

He performed the song called "Ordinary People". He sang it very well. Hearing him, it seems that he was the original singer of the song! What more, he played piano so perfectly romantic!

These maybe some of the reasons why he caught the hearts of the crowd. Even the three judges fell inlove with his song and talents! Kris Aquino even connoted, "gwapong-gwapo ka habang kumakanta...!" And also uttered "kung sa akin lang panalo ka na...!" Ai-Ai Delas Alas also shared same feelings. Also Mr. Freddie Garcia a.k.a. FMG was also amazed by this cute boy's performance!

I Have Fallen In Love (With the Same Woman Three Times)

This could be the saddest day for the whole Filipino community as well as the whole world! Today is the last day people could see our beloved President termed as the "Mother of Democracy", Mrs. Cory Aquino. The day of her burial, the day of tears, and the last day of thanks-giving!



News, TV programs, radio broadcasts, and newspapers were all devoted for her. More and more people were giving their respects and thankfulness to Cory. Seeing her burial parade with a crowd and sea of people, it reminds us of the 1986 People Power Revolution when she returned back the democracy in our hands! Same number of crowds (or probably surpassed) the burial parade of Ninoy Aquino, the loving husband of Cory.

This only proves the love of people to Cory. Cory showed to all of us that she is not only a lover of democracy but a lover of all the people in any kind (rich or poor, known or unknown)! She truly deserve this kind of respect, salute, and love Filipinos gave to her.


As part of my tribute to our Most-Loved Philippine President, I know you already heard this song. Yup, this is the poem Ninoy Aquino created to her wife Cory. Then eventually the poem turned into a melodic love song sang by Jose Mari Chan and became part of his album, "Constant Change". This same song was now revived by Christian Bautista and will be part of the compilation album of Kris Aquino to be dedicated to her mother.

The message of this song is really a remarkable one summarizing the love story of Ninoy and Cory. According to it, Ninoy fell in love with Cory the first time during their young age, the second time was when Cory gave birth to their children, and the third one was during their reunion from the battle! It's such a nice one!

Tie A Yellow Ribbon

Though expected, I still got shocked hearing the 7am News update by Tintin Bersola and Julius Babao in their Saturday Radio program last August 1, 2009. They read the text messages of the million radio listeners saying "Thank You President Cory!"


Deep inside, I was sad. Though we're not really that close or even know each other, Cory Aquino still take a big role in our Philippine History. She just even played a bit part in my life and even in our life now. The democracy all we're enjoying right now is the fruit of her dedication, commitment, and true service to our nation.

Being a lover of Philippine History and a Philippine/World History Quizzer, the name Mrs. Corazon Cojuangco 'Cory' Aquino is always a part of my memory, brain, pen, vision, and of course my heart as well!


Termed as the 'Icon of Democracy', Cory really created a big place in the History of the Philippines and even in the whole world. The People Power Revolution headed by this Lady was trully a remarkable event in World History. Not only the First Woman President in our country, but the First Woman President in South East Asia! Aside from this, she was also featured in Times Magazine as the Most Powerful Woman in her time!

Well, what else you remember about Cory? Of course her Yellow Trade Mark and the hand sign 'L' which symbolize "Hopes" and "Laban" And in terms of music, many nationalistic songs such as "Magkaisa", "Ang Bayan Ko", etc. made so popular! And of course this song, really connoted Cory and the death of Ninoy!
