The Reason

Sometimes, it's hard to forget the person who becomes so special to you. Or a person that really becomes part of your heart. Though many years already passed, that person would somehow flashes your mind!

This happened to me after listening to this previous hit song. This song called "The Reason" from Hoobastank is a popular hit song way back in 2004. And during that year, I was a third year ECE student who trapped inlove with the person who already flew in Dubai!

During those times, whenever I heard this song, it made me cry! It keeps me reminded with a love I already lost!

The reason why she flew to Dubai and leaved me alone is because she wants to find a good job. And the reason why I pursue engineering is to also have a better job someday and also to totally forget her!

Now after 7 years, all were just memories of the past! Am I still loving her?! Or I now fully recovered from her?! Well, my answer now is I'm finding my one true love! Yes, I already moved on from her and ready to love again!

When was the last time you fall in love? Are you committed to someone now? Or you recently had your breakups?

It was 2004 when I heard this song by Joey Fatone. The lyrics, the beat, the voice of the singer, and of course the message of the song is really great! It's all about falling in love again! Hearing this song, I immediately buy a CD to burn this one and continuously play it!

You know that during that time, I lost my love! She had recently departed in a far away land to look for a better job! I was left here in the country pursuing another degree! I was kept on finding love to replace my lost one during that time! And because of that situation, this song became my theme. I learned to love this song from then on!

Until now, I still love this song. I had a copy of this in my mobile phone, in my PC, and even here in my playlist! It really inspires me. It always gives me a chance to love!

Now that I am engaged in a busy Corporate work, love is still in my priority. I have the power to choose who to love! I have my lineups of my prospects! But I have not yet giving my love to them! All I have for now are all lust! For now, I just enjoyed having different one night affairs!

Wag Na Wag Mong Sasabihin

Romance in Paris...or Lovers in Paris...! All of us were very much familiar with this!

Korean or Filipino, it really created a smash hit on our TV screen. But of course, its original soundtrack also created a place in our hearts! The TV series or the song itself...it is such a love story na walang kaPARIS...!

I still remember the date. It was 2004, I was a third year student in my new collage, the collage in Engineering where I took up my ECE course when the original koreanovela "Lovers in Paris" first aired on Primetime Bida replacing the smash hit fantaserye "Marina".

We all didn't expect that the said TV series will create a phenomenon on television. It was then themed with Kitchie Nadal's original hit "Wag na Wag Mong Sasabihin"! Together, a total TV series craze was created on Philippine television. Carlo, Vivian, and Martin really touched our hearts.

The same teleserye fever was again repeated but this time with a Filipino flavor! A remake of the hit Koreanovela was revived on TV. Piolo Pascual, KC Concepcion, and Zanjoe Marudo are now the new Carlo, Vivian, and Martin! A new love-triangle heats up our TV screen.

Hearing their song which was now revived by KC Concepcion with another version from KC duet with Piolo, I still remember my 2004 love story. If they have a love story in Paris, I could say, I have a former love in Dubai! Yeah, as I told you before in my previous posts, my love flew in Dubai to look for a better future while I remained here in our country and decided to pursue an engineering course. Glad I already finished it now with flying colors!

5 years had passed. I have now my own career and creating my own future. That love I used to cherished for years were now laid in my memories. A better good and inspiring love story to look back and share!

Angels Brought Me Here

2004 when I first hear this song. That time I was really longing for someone...someone I used to loved but eventually flew away...flew away in a faraway land to look for a better job and opportunities.

I was wishing then that someday she will be back or that someday we will meet again. While I decided to continue my engineering studies, she already got her job in Dubai.

Every after school, everyday that I go home, I just dropped by in SM Manila, reminiscing the place that we're together. Or maybe I just look for someone that will replace her in my heart!


It took time before I get fully recovered from the love that I have lost. I'ved tried to fall to someone nearer to me. But it was in Summer of 2005 when I really found someone that replaced her place!


Hmmm...seems that we're talking too much! I just got reminded with someone in the past when I hear this song. Well, as requested by my officemate friend, I will share with you the lyrics of the song we're talking about. It was Guy Sebastian who popularized this song.
