The Reason

Sometimes, it's hard to forget the person who becomes so special to you. Or a person that really becomes part of your heart. Though many years already passed, that person would somehow flashes your mind!

This happened to me after listening to this previous hit song. This song called "The Reason" from Hoobastank is a popular hit song way back in 2004. And during that year, I was a third year ECE student who trapped inlove with the person who already flew in Dubai!

During those times, whenever I heard this song, it made me cry! It keeps me reminded with a love I already lost!

The reason why she flew to Dubai and leaved me alone is because she wants to find a good job. And the reason why I pursue engineering is to also have a better job someday and also to totally forget her!

Now after 7 years, all were just memories of the past! Am I still loving her?! Or I now fully recovered from her?! Well, my answer now is I'm finding my one true love! Yes, I already moved on from her and ready to love again!

So for my pre-Valentines offering, here is Hoobastank singing you with a song called "The Reason"! Love is really the reason why we are living and taking different challenges! c",)

How long do we need to wait? Are we waiting for the right one to come or just we were only waiting for nothing?

Can love wait...? Or we are the one that needs to wait for love?!

Just recently, this song was heard all over the radio! And take note, the latest version of it was sung by a female singer.

Yup, I know, we were all familiar with the original version of this song by Richard Marx! This was the 80's hit love song that is still played on the different radio stations! It's such as timeless classic love song!

But this year, another new version of it was heard! And it was the version of the pop star princess Ms. Sarah Geronimo!

This is part of her current album which is Music and Me! Her new album is a collection of her hit songs, movie themes, and revival classic just like this!

In her version of this song, Sarah put all her emotions (like she always does) singing the song that makes you feel it! Hearing this, you will really feel the love you're waiting for the rest of your life! The love that you wait and the love that you think will wait for you!

This song is very much applicable to all the single individuals that until now waiting for their love to come! Of course, this is also applicable to the love affairs separated by distance or ambitions! Just like in my case, I was separated to my loves because of different reasons! Some needs to go abroad for work, some needs to pursue their career alone, some just didn't worked! But whatever reason, the point goes...all of us were waiting for the so-called right kind of love!

Wag Na Wag Mong Sasabihin

Romance in Paris...or Lovers in Paris...! All of us were very much familiar with this!

Korean or Filipino, it really created a smash hit on our TV screen. But of course, its original soundtrack also created a place in our hearts! The TV series or the song itself...it is such a love story na walang kaPARIS...!

I still remember the date. It was 2004, I was a third year student in my new collage, the collage in Engineering where I took up my ECE course when the original koreanovela "Lovers in Paris" first aired on Primetime Bida replacing the smash hit fantaserye "Marina".

We all didn't expect that the said TV series will create a phenomenon on television. It was then themed with Kitchie Nadal's original hit "Wag na Wag Mong Sasabihin"! Together, a total TV series craze was created on Philippine television. Carlo, Vivian, and Martin really touched our hearts.

The same teleserye fever was again repeated but this time with a Filipino flavor! A remake of the hit Koreanovela was revived on TV. Piolo Pascual, KC Concepcion, and Zanjoe Marudo are now the new Carlo, Vivian, and Martin! A new love-triangle heats up our TV screen.

Hearing their song which was now revived by KC Concepcion with another version from KC duet with Piolo, I still remember my 2004 love story. If they have a love story in Paris, I could say, I have a former love in Dubai! Yeah, as I told you before in my previous posts, my love flew in Dubai to look for a better future while I remained here in our country and decided to pursue an engineering course. Glad I already finished it now with flying colors!

5 years had passed. I have now my own career and creating my own future. That love I used to cherished for years were now laid in my memories. A better good and inspiring love story to look back and share!

Wherever You Will Go

It's been five years from now. 2004 was the year she left to go in the Arabian country to go and look for a better oppurtunity. On the same year, I already completed my first course. It was also the year that I started my new career in the College of Engineering. Thanks for my second scholarship!

I was blessed with my good lucks in my career studies then. What was left to me is a broken heart. A heart broken because of the love that leaved me for the Middle East. A place were good jobs were offer.

Everytime this song was played, she keeps me reminding for my love to her. Wherever she will go...wherever you may go...my love will keep in my heart! My love will always stay even for years right now. I just keep on dreaming that someday, we will meet again. Dubai led the distance for my heart.

I always remember her wondering how she looks right now. Is the beauty of her face remains the same? Is her teeth still shinning as cute as before? Or will I stay dreaming for her? Nothing more, what left to me is the short memory that we have. Thanks for 'The Calling' that made this song a hit for all the broken-hearted persons like us because of the career goal separated by the distance.
