Oh yeah, few days to go and we are about to welcome the year of the dog! The 2018 Chinese New Year is just around the corner! Are you ready?! 

Being one of the members of the Chinoy community, I am also excited to welcome and celebrate the Chinese New Year (CNY). And this year is more special... we will celebrate it with #diverCHIty!

Yes you heard it right, "diverCHIty." Coined from the word "diversity," #diverCHIty is actually the on-going campaign of the Chinese-Filipino community. This is launched for all proud Chinoys in line with Chinoy TV’s 8th year anniversary acting as a pillar in the Chinese-Filipino community. The campaign aims to gather individuals / groups who share the same cause of promoting diversity, individuality and unity among the Chinese- Filipino Community. And part of this campaign is the CNY #diverCHIty Run 2018.

To commence the campaign and celebrate the Chinese New Year, a series of events are lined-up which comprise the DiverCHIty run that aims to promote a healthy physique and develop your Chi (Body’s positive energy). 

DiverCHIty Run is integrated with Affinitea Run and will be composed of Chinese theme and elements such as Red/Gold Singlet, Lion & Dragon Dance and Angpao. Covering race distance of 3k, 5k and 10k.

   

This event gathers key representatives from the Chinese community such as Schools, Businesses, Organizations and all major Chinese Associations in the country.

Hanggang Ngayon

Bryan Termulo is today's one of the rising hunk singer. He is a member of ASAP's singing heartthrobs called "Boys Are Boys" together with Alex Castro, Markki Stroem, and JM De Guzman. Bryan is a former Kapuso artist and a product of their singing talent search together with Alex.

Bryan just releases his second album with the carrier single called "Hanggan Ngayon." The said song is also used in the Kapamilya teleserye "Kung Ako'y Iiwan Mo."

Bryan also sung the theme songs of other hit Primetime teleseryes like "Dadalhin" for the Philippines phenomenal hit teleserye "Walang Hanggan" and "Pagdating ng Panahon" for the recently concluded TV series "Dahil sa Pag-Ibig."

I'm so lucky that I already met in person this humble guy during the "Tambayan 101.9 Awards Night" in SM North EDSA Skydome where he performed his hit. And here are our photos together:

Chris Brown once more collaborated with another artist to give us another hit dance song. This time, he performs together with Pitbull!

Pitbull is known to be a collaborator artist since almost all of his songs, he performed with another artist. Pitbull and Chris Brown now popularize, "International Love!"

I started to hear this song played in Yahoo music. Since Yahoo Music is my companion FM station here in my office, I learn new songs everyday! And one of these is "International Love!"

Aside from its cool and relaxing beat and rhythm which make you dance with, I even like the message it connotes. It seems that it is promoting world peace and love! Love goes international no matter what is your color, race, or citizenship!

I even like the music video of it! In the start of the MTV, the earth was presented! It seems like I'm watching a high-fi movie! What more, Pitbull and Chris Brown very well blended with one another! I love the moves of Chris, so gorgeous!

Katy Perry releases a new hit. This is a song called "Part of Me" which is now topping the hit chart!

Just like she always does in many of her hit songs, a new look of Katy was seen in the music video. If you recall, Katy always transforms or changes looks in her different songs like as an alien in "E.T.", a nerd woman in "Last Friday Night," a glamor lady in "California Girls," and a liberated teenager in "Teenage Dream."

Now in her new hit "Part of Me," Katy transforms into a lady soldier!

Yup, Katy Perry turns into a soldier in the music video of this song. She cut her hair short after breaking up with her boyfriend and enters the military force!

Many truly appreciate the new look of Katy here with a short hair. She is still very beautiful! We can describe her as a tough beautiful lady in the mid-part of the music video!

I am now starting to love Selena Gomez and her songs! Yeah, I appreciate her now and her songs! Because of her hit "Love You Like a Love Song," her other songs particularly this one is my favorite!

"Who Says" is Selena Gomez' cute and cool song! I like how she gave life to this song. It is so girly that definitely fits the young girls or teenage women with vanity.

Actually, I got the title of this song through Yahoo Music though I already heard it from my friend's MP3.

Before learning this song of Selena, I knew Selena before as a girlfriend of Justine Bieber. And I didn't know what song she popularized. But now, I truly appreciate and like her and her music!

More on Selena, at first look, she got a resemblance with Rhian Ramos and Ana Roces. But of course, her beauty and appeal are much greater than them! What more her singing talent!

This is one of my favorite songs this year! It is so inspiring. And I really want to sing it!

"What Makes You Beautiful" is actually a debut single of the teenage boy group One Direction. It is released last February of 2012.

I first heard this song on the FM radio. I love it since the very first time that I've heard it! At first I didn't know the title of it so I searched it in Google and in YouTube. And thanks God, I got it! I even secured a copy of it here in my laptop and in my mobile phone.

Talking about the singers of the song, they were so cool, nice, and cute! They were young heartthrobs that will captivate your heart!

Because of this song, One Direction is today's one of the favorite boy group. It even paved way for their new hit which I will discuss in my next post!

I even remember Xian Lim for this song. It's because, he sang it during his TV guessing in "Gandang Gabi Vice" birthday special. And he really sang it very well!
