The hit US singing reality show "American Idol" Season 11 has just been concluded. And just like the previous past seasons, a man so-called as WGWG or "White Guy With Guitar" won the competition! The white guy Philip Philips beat our very own Jessica Sanchez!

Among the WGWG winner, my favorite is no other the Season 8 Winner Kris Allen!

Kris has a new single launched this year. This is a song called "The Vision of Love."

The said song is part of his newest album "Thank You Carmelita."

The song is so inspiring that will make you fall in love to this hunk heartthrob singer.

The Truth Music Video

The hottest hunk American Idol 2009 winner Kris Allen is back with his latest single! And his music video for this new hit is currently released.

His new single is called "The Truth" and is started strongly!

It debuted at No. 37 on the U.S. Billboard Hot Adult Top 40 Tracks chart for the week of June 5, 2010. And until now it continuously gaining popularity!

Talking more about this Kris Allen's new hit, this song was written by Train frontman Pat Monahan and its producer, Toby Gad. The single version of the song, which features Monahan, was released as the album’s second single on May 11, 2010.

Then going to the music video itself, the MTV was so good and inspiring! I like the background wherein the sunset was focused. And of course Kris Allen sings softly rock! It captures your heart! Termed as the "Sexiest American Idol", AI's Season 8 winner Kris Allen will grace his Filipino fans as he will be having two part concert here in the Philippines!

I know everyone of us were really, really excited for this concert! But before that, let us all again welcome Kris Allen here in the Rhythm of the Rock! =)

Just like last year when the two David American idols Archuleta and Cook performed a concert here in our country, it's now time for the latest AI winner to have another concert!

Kris Allen together with his guest boyband will be having two concert here. The first will be happened in Cebu while the other one will be in NCR. And guess what, his NCR concert which will happen on February 6, this coming Saturday night, the venue is here near our office! Yeah, it is infront of our building here in The Fort! Actually right now, the stage for his concert was already prepared! We can almost see it everytime we arrive in our building!

Oh, I like to see him! But the problem is, his concert will happened on the night of our day-off so we will be away from the vicinity of our office! And most of all, I have no enough money to buy ticket for his concert knowing that his tickets were so expensive!

So sad! Hayz...before, I promise to myself that when he will have a concert here, I will surely watch it! Now the time has come but chances forbid me!

Maybe I'll just enjoy seeing his concert on TV or DVD. Some other times, I hope I can make it! Or how I wish somebody will treat me for his concert! That's much better! =)

For the meantime, let us again congratulate Kris Allen for his success! After winning last year in AI and hitting songs like "No Boundaries", "Apology", "Ain't No Sunshine", and many more, last November 17, 2009, he launched another album, his major-label debut album (second overall)!

Apologize

It's too late to apologize...! This somewhat similar to the Filipino saying, "laging nasa huli ang pagsisisi...!" In any other different race, spoken in any other language, saying 'sorry' is always in the end.

We always made mistake then we just realize that we had done wrong at the end.

Well, this another hit song will truly fits us.

Yeah, it's always difficult for us to say sorry, to apologize to the mistake we had done. For some they will just ignore it. They will rather get civil with the person they made a misdeed. These were some of the reasons why two lovers who broke apart created an unclear closure of their relationship.

Personally speaking, I don't exactly had an experience like this. Yup, I had a misunderstanding with my former classmate and my co-editor in our publication. I admit I also had a mistake but I never ever imagine I would say sorry with that person. He's such a cruel and wicked one and never deserve an apology!

I want to share with you this song as well as its lyrics. Yeah, I really love this one!

The message it connotes is really good. A touching tale! Different artists made a very good version of this song. Timbaland and One Republic started a very nice original version. And now Kris Allen, our latest American Idol champion still made his very own remake! Another great and better one!

Man In The Mirror

Up to now, the news about the death of the 'King of POP' Michael Jackson didn't rest into its own peace. The latest news about him is still on the search for his 'mysterious death'! Still no conclusion for the real cause!


We could deny the fact that Jacko made a variety of contributions worldwide. His songs were really an inspiring masterpieces.

Besides his rock and pop hits, Jacko could also be remember with his songs promoting peace and welfare. If you could still remember his hits like "We are the World" and "Heal the World (Make it a Better Place)", he's really an ambassador of peace! Music videos of these songs showcased peace, unity, and welfare of the poor around the world.

Seeing some of his videos on MYX, I was also inspired with his another song. In this music video, you won't see any appearance of Michael Jackson. Instead you will see poor people, dark children without homes, helping hands between one another, peace and unity worldwide. This particular song is the "Man in the Mirror".



Surprisingly, this song was also revived by our favorite American Idol, Kris Allen. It is part of his album. No Boundaries

The winning piece of this year's American Idol Kris Allen is continuously hitting the air waves. From time to time, you will now hear over the radio this song "No Boundaries" that popularized by this Idol!



Though I'm not a die-hard fanatic of America's No. 1 Talent Search nor an ultimate idol of this man, as I watch their Grand Finale (yup, it's my very first time to watch keenly that show), I was amazed how he put life into the song noting that I was not also familiar with the song he sing. But then listening thoroughly, I was impressed with its rhythm, its lyrics, and the message delivered by the song!

I can relate with his song "No Boundaries". It just like telling us that we know what we want, but then we didn't know how we can get it and how long will we wait?

It just keep reminding me of the love that I lost! I know I love her. I know I can reach her, but then I don't know what will I do to get her and tell her that I love her now that I found she's loving someone else! So to avoid too much pain, I was the one who moved away! I moved a million miles away from her though we're near! I avoid seeing her or even talking with her! I let the pain to heal.


But then, thanks God I found someone to admire. Someone to allot my love with. Though she's too far and unreachable (and she even didn't know about me), I will keep my love and admiration to her. Knowing that she already had the love of her life, I will still keep her in my heart. She relieves all the pain I had with my previous someone. She put a smile and happiness in my heart whenever I see or hear her. Hoping someday that we could see each other!

Just like the lyrics of Kris Allen's song...how long can you wait?, there is still No Boundaries nor no mountains or hurricanes to love someone, to reach and achieve our goals.

Ain’t No Sunshine and Kris Allen

The fever for 'American Idol Season 8' is still rising up even hotter! After the announcement of winner last May 20, 2009, all fanatics, TV viewers, even me were all amazed by the performance of this new idol winner dubbed as the 'dark horse'.

The grand finale of this Season 8 American Idol was a star-studded one. Almost all well-known artist peformed in the said finale including the Black-eyed peas, Cindy Whooper, Lionel Richie, David Cook, and many more. But of course, the peformance of the two finalist were very much watched!

Early Life and Music

Kris Allen was born June 21, 1985 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He taught himself to play guitar at the age of 13 and can play multiple instruments. In 2007, he self-produced an album titled Brand New Shoes with friends Michael Holmes and Chase Erwin.

Kris Allen is a worship leader at New Life Church in Maumelle, Arkansas. He has been involved in missionary work around the world including Burma, Morocco, Mozambique, South Africa, Spain, and Thailand. Much of his musical background is connected with his church experiences.

Kris Allen auditioned for American Idol in Louisville, Kentucky singing the song "A Song For You." During Hollywood week, he performed in a group that included Matt Giraud, one of the last five finalists. Early on, Kris Allen was not considered one of the favorites to make it near the finale. However, his reputation as one of the top finalists has grown throughout the competition. On May 20, 2009, Kris Allen was announced as the winner of 2009's American Idol.
